This ride starts and finishes at Laguna Sofia in Southern Chile. The Estancia house itself is nestled below the mountains in a valley near the shores of a lake. The area was once the ancient hunting grounds of the Selk'nam (also known as Telheuches) Indians. There is an aura of adventure here.

This is a fast ride! There is challenging terrain on mountain trails, through beech forests with long open canters in the valleys and summer grasslands. Good riding experience is required. This trip will inspire and be loved by those who have an adventurous outlook, have a love of the outdoors and enjoy riding like the wind! Aimed toward the keen and able horseman. You will spend three nights in Estancia lodgings and four nights in simple puesto lodgings (summer abode of the gaucho). Very comfortable estancia home lodgings at the beginning and end of the journey, clean but very simple facilities during the ride.

You will be accompanied by an experienced and informative guide passionate about the region during the safari. Your guide will have a good knowledge of the local flora and fauna; the indigenous history of the Indian, and local folklore and culture. We will carry reference books and interesting reading for the rest periods.

This ride is very exciting and the terrain lends itself to spectacular long canters and breathtaking scenary. The itinerary offers a wonderfully compact adventure with plenty of raw adrenaline moments!
