India is a unique spirit. She is an experience not to be missed. Our rides here are a journey on many levels. Extremes of colour, smell, spice, art, people – and the indigenous Marwari war horse, a light footed, noble, arabesque stead with great endurance and speed and an ancient history dating back to early kingdoms of the region. You have a wonderful host and gentleman in Bonnie; a great horseman descending from the reputable Shekawati clan in the princely state of Jaipur. The ride is run by passionate horsemen who provide a wonderful service that make this a fantastic experience. The horses one rides are from Bonnie’s own Marwari breeding program at Dunlod Fort, a home of great character and stud of fine quality.

You ride to the Nagaur Horse Festival. The experience takes in the splendid arts and architecture of the region. India is an exceptional experience and the aim of the trip is that you get an authentic insight and feel for this unique country. On safari you are guided through rural Rajasthan, in semi desert terrain where the going is good with plenty of cantering opportunities. The camping is in comfy traditional Rajasthan style tents. Lunch stops are made along the way at shaded spots. Full lunch will be served and area to ly down and siesta created. Evening dining at the camp is outside at table or or informal plates on laps around the campfire.. The grooms, cooks and guides are wonderful characters making it a memorable safari for you.

Note: We can make this itinerary shorter for those with less time i.e. no city tour at the end.
